The district of the River Mula is located in the center of the district of Murcia.


Albudeite, Campos del Rio (with their old of Los Rodeos), Mula (with their disticts of Yechar, La Puebla de Mula, health resorts of Mula, Fuente Librilla, Casas Nuevas and the Niño de Mula) and Pliego.

The four extend in a surface of 727' 5 Km2, almost 6,5% of the territory district of Mula.

Castillo
  This territory embraces a great sedimentary basin, lightly bowed toward the east, crossed by the rivers of Mula and Pliego, which have created the fertile irrigated villages of the four towns of the district with great abundance of ravines and ravines. This basin closes to the south and Southwest for the mountains of Espuña and Cambrón, and to the north for that of Ricote

   It is open to the east, being continued toward the municipal of Alcantarilla and Murcia and, toward the west, connecting with the district of the lands high district of Murcia, located in the northwest of the region.
Fuente Caputa .In general terms it is an area of temperate mediterranean climate, with warm summers and soft winters, although it presents a tendency associated to the variations of altitude of the territory, being made fresher in the highest part in the district, in the nearest area to the biggest heights in the mountains of the northwest.

   
In the mountains, the temperatures stockings diminish strongly and the precipitations are abundant, being relatively frequent the presence of the snow in the shady ones and summits of Sierra Espuña and the Sierra del Cambrón during the coldest days in the winter.
   
   
The diversity of landscapes and customs, the cultural, historical and natural wealth, the singularity and the good number of festivities of these lands, suggestive and welcoming they offer to the visitor of the district with great projection will to the exterior.
